Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Sarah Phillips Pellet and I am the author of two children's picture books: The Kangaroo Pouch, A Story About Surrogacy, illustrated by Laurie Faust, and Candles in the Cabin, illustrated by Raúl González.

I am currently working on a fairy tale chapter-book for middle readers, my first foray into that genre and age group (8-to-12 year olds). My books are available on-line through this site, Amazon.com, Waterstones.com, and Trafford.com.

I live in New Jersey with my family and two dogs. I grew up in Massachusetts, where I spent my summers in Maine, so I consider myself to be from those two places. I also was lucky enough to live in London, England for many years. I went to Rutgers University, where I  graduated with a degree in journalism.  I also went to Dean College, where I received a  degree in communication arts.  I have always wanted to write and have been a business writer throughout my career.  I am also an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
